Imaginary Friends

I'm always walking. Somewhere.
Trying to reach my imaginary friends.
I can see them. They're flying
around me and around my hands.
But when I stretch my arm,
I realise. They aren't here.
Well, they maybe aren't far.
They aren't near...
I'm walking. Somewhere.
And it's always the same.
I can't find them. Anywhere..
Isn't it a shame?
My warm smiles, my rainbows,
Everything's lost in the hole.
Heartless plays with voodoo dolls
are stabbing my purple sore.
And finally I've got a conclusion.
They are my friends. And an illusion...

💖 I'm reading this book The Blind Man's Garden by Naseem Aslam and he says, Love is recognizing the loneliness in another. There is a vulnerable tenderness to the voice that is engaging.
