Embracing Embers

A man sits, entranced by flame
A dance of fire that he knows by name
From youth, it's held a strange allure
The way it moves, a mystical lure

The orange light, a mesmerizing sight
It flickers and dances, with grace and might
A symphony of fire, he can’t look away
Captivated by this dance, night and day

But in the man's mind, a thought begins to stir
A hint of darkness, a sinister purr
For in the depths of his soul, a secret he bears
One he's kept hidden, through laughter and tears

He’s a master of fire, with a devilish twist
A serial arsonist, who finds joy in the mist
The flames he adores, are his own wicked creation
His fiery obsession, a dangerous temptation

So as he sits and stares at the fireplace bright
His mind wanders to past fires, a mysterious sight
The man is enchanted, but the fire holds a deadly cost
A reminder of the darkness, that he’s forever lost
