Heir of Sisyphus

My heart is in a constant struggle
A head in an endless war
And thoughts that won't cease

Each day plagued by guilt
I want to explode
Like a dying star
To create an enormous black hole

Is it enough just to try?
I attempt to be good, to laugh
It's nothing but a brittle mask

The weight of grief rests on my back
Here is the heir of Sisyphus
Rolling his stone next to his father
