Into the Night Sky
Diamond dippers in the sky
Scooping out a place for you and I
Ombré blanket—here a velvet midnight blue
There a brighter gilded azure hue
Yet we both exist beneath the same vast space
So bring your heart & body nearer in this place
Rest your worries in my peace of mind
Let that great dipper cup your love with mine
Though but a number in this over-populated world
Yet, you’re the star ‘round which my planets swirl
So come, explore the Milky Way with me
Until we find a time & place where our love can BE
