We met in solaced frequencies
I saw the names held tight
began to paint my vision
releasing each pricking leaf
Reading a book where
I dream casted your soul
aflame into enigmatic elegies
proclaiming myself
as love
entangled
 
waited while I placed
placebo orchids
behind your heart shells
mystically
 
and so on
you don't remember anymore
you don't haunt anymore
my incomplete sleep
I wake up scared
that you are not here yet
I'm afraid to tell
my dreams
I'm afraid to tell you
even if it is
whispered in the ear
and still you do not listen.
 
we reached hands
joined fingers
night bathing
into each duskily haze
embodied
 
I saw you through the door
ajar from the closet
distracted
caressing a pair of socks
distracted
stripped of the daily fantasy
and the things that others
left in your eyes
 
gazing silver light.
