In the moment
she said, no one has ever
touched me like this before,
lying there, her back arching
into a perfect rainbow
as banshee winds
tore roofs off memories
inside my bone dry skull
and shredded the moment
into a confetti
of sodden glossolalia
unspoken
the rainbow collapsed
and my fraud remained
as undiscovered
as the pot of gold
I so believed in as a child
but never found.
