Another sunrise I wake to alone
Tell me my love
What's the purpose in this again?
You're in the next room but may as well be on another planet
The distance between us screams
How do I fix this?
I wouldn't know where to begin
The further you drift away
The more desperate I become
I can't pinpoint where I lost you
My only relief from this torture
The smoke I inhale... within seconds I go numb
Just going through the motions
Two strangers co-existing in this cold and lonely house
My skin starting to rot from your neglect
I'm drowning in this room in the memories of our love
While you sleep out on the couch
Tell me my love

Could not figure out how to end this one or if this was the end..either way.. woke up 20 mins ago and laid here looking out at the fresh new day with too much on my mind. Happy Saturday

Very vivid write of an all too familiar scene for many of us.
I once purposely left something along this message out for my ex to see. It wasn't to salvage anything. But to acknowledge the void. Like a pre-goodbye.

Such an introspective piece – Reminded me of the alone feeling while walking within a crowd. Always difficult to reconcile what happened to love while you drift apart. I hope you can stay away from the smoke as it’s numbing affect seldom leads to a path of happiness.
