Pain To Pen

In the middle of night, is the time I clear my mind and write.

No interruptions or distractions, just my pen and pad and my mind's fractions.

My pain to pen is some of the most original poetry you'll read, it's based off my pain and the pain in the world that I see.

From the midnight hour to the dusk of dawn, my pen flows like a graceful swan.

No hesitations or pauses, gotta get the pain out despite it's causes.

Most times its deception that brings the tears that run down my face, but I'm able to release my pain when I'm in my writing space.

Often times there's a smile that covers up the pain, and yes it's common in this poetry game.

See what most don't understand is when the pain is placed in the pen it's a form of relief, you might call it just writing but to me it's that special form of therapy.
