What's happening to me?
Everything's quiet, empty
It's just my thoughts, me
Bathed in a pool of black
I hear my heart beat
My lungs expanding
Am I dead?
Unconscious perhaps?
I've done it
I am one with myself
In body
And in soul
So this is what peace feels like
To be enlightened
So free

This reads like a dark experience where perhaps in times of despair one leaves the body or just the mindset.
Your words are well crafted, could be a good piece to make into a more lengthy story too but fine as it is!
