It’s more than enough
To never be you
And never enough to feel what I need.
Hearing and knowing it’s nothing but you slowly killing yourself,
Is more than enough

I can understand from where I am about how powerless we are when a loved one is succumbing to drug abuse, illness, it is a terrible thing, exhausting and probably for many, a long and slow decline. Thank you for sharing this with us.

It’s like a carousel no one exits. The dizzying exhaustion and frustration is so difficult. I copycat the rest of my response to the above comments. Anything else I’d say would be an inadequate duplication as they said it better.

Great write. I like how you can express that there's only so much that you can do, but it feels like it's not enough even though it just might be. Good job.
