The First Hex

While we're entwined
Ideas, secrets and minds
Wicked aligned
Reckless abandon, I'll show you mine:

Across the world
Summoned hurt to crawl, unfurl
It's teeth whirled
Reached through gladly, it ate a girl

Runes wrote in blood
Fool didn't care if he should
Deep in the mud
Dark deeds done in the vain of love

Was there a toll?
Mistakes he should have foretold
It claimed a soul
Across the world, the young for old.
