A Raven’s Eye
There is a star in a raven’s eye
That shines in the day neath a bright blue sky.
It speaks in the day of the black of night
And the mystery of the birth of light.
It speaks of the dark and the night serene
And what is known before it is seen.
It speaks of the land of dark and dreams
That gives birth to the world of daytime scenes.
The raven flies on wings of night
Toward that everlasting light.
So speaks the Raven from his eye
And when you hear the Raven’s cry.

Very good conveyance of emotion and metaphor here, as well as life-lessons and morality. Very cohesive, concise, and succinct. It's almost as a parable. Thanks for sharing!
