From Thoughts to My Love
How do you tell the one you love the most
About all the thoughts inside your head
The ones that bring you so close
So close to the ending edge
The thoughts that take up residence
In a place that should be so sacred
That make you yearn and tense
For the blade of your razor or every pill
To find relief in any way, every way
From the thoughts that point out every mistake
Making you feel the need to go away
To a place over the bridge and through the gate
How do you tell them every flaw
That shows your worst side
That you hope they never saw
With a list longer than a hurricanes tide
To tell them that it's not only thoughts
But a plan of your making
Because hiding this can't be sought
When leaving here is a relief worth taking
When every day just gets longer
With an endless deafening abyss
Where you never get stronger
And yearn for the blades deep bliss
How do you tell them that every moment
Every thought drags you down lower
Until nothing other than your own repent
Is what you feel for those who surround you
When you know how difficult you are to love
Yet they choose to stay with no need of forgiveness
Watching and listening from above
The abyss you've fallen so far into
And the only way out is through silence
That is only achieved from the bitter end
With little help and little guidance
A sharp blade and no means to mend
How do you tell them your days here are done
That there is no time left to pretend
Of a solution better than these thoughts of one
