Not Necessary
I don't have to
see you there,
feel your presence,
sense your skin,
or smell your hair.
I survive
your waiting there,
a few degrees,
a sense
of care,
and every signal
shakes its dare.
Well,
you can take
each knowing note,
glide it past
each glowing coat,
and conjure
with them make
the vastest peace
On this estate.
I don't have to

feel your presence,
sense your skin,
or smell your hair.
I survive
your waiting there,

and every signal

each knowing note,
glide it past
each glowing coat,
and conjure
with them make
the vastest peace
On this estate.
