Justice

Blacks get more time than whites.
The police love to read our rights.
The justice system is so damn dirty.
Damn, they don't show any mercy.
They're supposed to serve and protect.
But yet they don't give us any respect.
Because it's the color of my skin.
Like being black is an awful sin.
They say we gotta vote for change.
These laws gotta be rearranged.
Living in this world we're not equal.
We live in a world full of evil.
I'm not doing this for likes and views.
Blacks being killed is always in the news.
When will it stop? Where's the peace?
Because too many blacks are deceased.
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Republicans and Democrats need to be fired.
Man, this world ain't getting no better.
All they worry about is getting more cheddar.
It was like this since the beginning.
They don't want blacks to be winning.
They wanna see us lose or get killed.
Making it hard for us to grow and build.
They kidnapped my ancestors from Africa.
They work like a slave losing their stamina.
On a slave ship in horrific conditions.
That's why you can't depend on politicians.
Where right from wrong it's been lost.
It's in the ocean where slaves were tossed.
This world doesn't have common sense.
They only care about dollars and cents.
This is the truth so many don't like this.
It's been going on for years. I'm pissed.
Because nothing is happening for us.
Don't you think that we should discuss?
About change because we had enough.
And our journey has been so rough.
Slavery will always be here.
It's a fungus that won't disappear.
I'm trying to keep my head up.
Because too many are giving up.
Depression is killing so many.
They feel their life is worth a penny.
What we can do is come together.
Because we don't live forever.
We can make this world a better place.
All we gotta do is show more grace.
For so many, it seems impossible.
But with God anything is possible.
