a change (of season)
the sun notices a change
as the winds blow colder,
fewer warm days to tempt us
while the seasons grow colder,
overdue leaves begin to stain
turning landscapes satin and bright,
dusting the ground while falling
bright red and golden flames,
twirling shadows in moonlight
as the cold weathers cascade,
the bare trees waving goodbye
while autumn's beauty fades.
