faint heart
Observation, a sharing of aged dark maroon wine doused with a smidge of bourbon
:
a knee raises with distance from
the other, a rested finger on lips began moving
back / forth.
Let her see eyes of gaze with answers
of how I want her / what I will do to and for her.
and for moment she'd nestled against thoughts of a past lover's hold - - so I pull her whispers close, then closer
listened as words shattered within every other breath; I knew what I'd always known: she wasn't meant for the faint heart
"..I am not a clean slate, just a soul with
glass for heart on which his fingerprints resides carbon dat'd for as long as
my explicit haptic memory can remember
it seems fair to say I thought I'd die, but didn't;
turns out that I can't… no matter how hard I try
we touched, I heard her howl, watched her unfold before and after dawn, she
was a woman no longer deprived; she suckled
my tears
