Glossed Over and Forgotten Yet Again....

The online world is a dangerous landscape,
Full of crashing waves, like a rough and raging seascape.
Full of trolls, barbarians, and cliques,
Ignoring you with their clicks,
Even in open, community spaces,
They show their true faces,
Ignoring you after you jump in
To the conversation
When there was a lull,
To them, you were null.
They were not asking for specific people to talk,
Yet it seems only amongst each other they squawk.
Glossed over, yet again,
Forgotten yet again,
As if I had written in chalk, and it was washed away
Before they even saw it anyway.
I wasn't an existing friend,
In their little clique that they've penned,
With each keystroke,
It's like a toke,
They get high off of each other's company,
And completely ignore my company,
Forgetting that others are on the server too,
Leaving me to feel pretty blue.
I don't need new friends, nor to never be left out,
But it still hurts, nonetheless, and without a doubt.
Sometimes people just don't care
If you're even there.

....And you just gotta suck it up, forget it happened, and stay happy there.
