Sentimental moments make the morning

I'm a morning person so I'm more likely to tell you I love you
In the AM.  I'm pretty useless after 5pm ...

Aw, I do love it when you get all mushy. 😍😊  Why is it so hard to believe when someone tells us this? Who knows... Years of conditioning, maybe. I hope whoever this is for gets the message....

I guess my mush is good if the person I'm telling I love them appreciates being told.  Love telling has to be done at the right time.  Maybe there should be a signal for love telling like a yellow light on a traffic signal ?  I don't know.  
Having had a recent death in my family opened my eyes a bit to saying stuff I feel....

It’s in the simplest acts where the greatest love is found and I think this poem perfectly reflects that. I concur with all the lovely comments above and as they’ve all used the perfect words to define the emotion of this write I’ll just tip my hat in agreement. But it’s also the ability to recognize that love and honor it as you’ve done in this piece. The painting exudes the brightness and energy of the emotion. Dear H,

I had a recent death in my family.  My first cousin passed a few weeks ago.  She lived a courageous battle against addiction but ultimately lost the battle.  I can't say I agreed with her lifestyle but in her last months of life we connected briefly.  We talked about life and a lot about art.  I sent her a few of my paintings and they will live on with her family.

I made a vow to myself after she passed to connect with the people I love around me and let them know how much I care for them.
This is one of the stories .....
