the martyrdom of existence

writing pain with blood
doors found once thought lost
to die and die again
just to feel alive
few would pay the cost
of martyrdoms' of pure existence
finding transcendence through sin
forever trapped within
a world of hunger and agony
walls come crashing down
love seeks red tinged lust
eyes dilate
ragged breathe gasping
the mind thrown to it's knees
now floats free
a tableau of horror on the bed
guttural screaming
raw nerves plucked like harp strings
and you smile in harmony
in an endless journey of being
a heart once forlorn
a goddess reborn
forever beckoning me
