Time
everything takes time to grow
or so the story goes
in the infinite wisdom of creation
He said it and made it so
His true beauty and love is nurtured
we must learn to crawl before we walk
patience in the development of love
because nothing is instantaneous
the world wants immediate gratification
but there is composure in things that matter
spiritual growth leads to wisdom
one cannot exist without the latter
dreams may in time come to fruition
but the seeds need to germinate
I study his word and concentrate
that I may change my human condition
