Voideering
Voideering, the state of apathy beyond all reason
Where all things are faded images
Upon the Dry Country where the Sun bears no light.
A place, beyond all care.
Even despair is an ancient memory
For the clockwork moves but there is no clockmaker
Or clockwork key to wind to motivation.
Here the sky and land merge as one
With overbearing stars to draw the traveller awry,
Into further desolation mocked by posibility.
Lost years and possibilities fill the air
Damp air that will not refresh the troubled souls
Damp air that povokes no sense in the hollow hearted bones.
Each step is a false step nowhere
While Babel towers tople silently sideways
Merging with the dust in fluid motion
Yet nothing registers for those around.
There are only cruel stars
For those still with spirit
And empty eyes for those without.
Here reason has faded.
No more acknowledged apathy
For those who are Voideering.
Where all things are faded images
Upon the Dry Country where the Sun bears no light.
A place, beyond all care.
Even despair is an ancient memory
For the clockwork moves but there is no clockmaker
Or clockwork key to wind to motivation.

With overbearing stars to draw the traveller awry,

And empty eyes for those without.

No more acknowledged apathy
For those who are Voideering.
