Why walk with me in company?
My voice is never heard.
Why walk with me?
I talk with thee
yet you do not say a word.

Why walk with me in falsity?
Deception by my side.
Why walk with me?
If not to be
sincere seems homicide.

Why walk with me in present
when you never really show?
Why stay to spite my wishes
you persist to overthrow?

Why follow me in running
when I only run away?
Why hinder me?
Just let me be
alone in my dismay.

Why hold me close in your heart?
Why, with all we say and do?
Why so long to hold me
as I will always hold you?
