Your Touch

I won't usurp your Midas dreams
Dripping lazy golden memories
Wherein all you touch is turned to gold
And of golden thread the spell they weave

xxx

Melting into you
Adrift
Within the incense of your grace
All that is bold - the swift pride in me
Laid down
And again, as when a child
Just longing to be held
Lost within the moments warmth
Such moments far to few
Perchance, some simple passing words
When silence says so much
To be held and by your touch
Healed and renewed
Sweet peace such moments silent speak
Worldly cares laid by for love
As I sit simply at your feet
Not seeking love of passions, tempest tossed
Nor blind, misplaced, and slavishly so
But as one
Together
In a time transcending
At ease
At peace
Sweet in precious being
For you are all I need
