ALL WAYS, ALWAYS and FOREVER

From within the depths of darkness

Reaching far down into the sacred hole

Each of our hands will gradually appear

Touching the depths of the others soul.

Dragged out of the depths of despair

We may even stumble once or twice

But, insuring not to let the other fall

Holding on firmly to the other like a vice.

Both of us are never truly wanting nothing

And even so, expecting just the same

Our connection always seems flared

Immediately knowing its not a game.

The deeper and deeper that we'd fall

Though the hole was filled with light

Both were frightened though felt secure

Even with no bottom no where in sight.

Giving our hearts freely to one another

Also the opening and baring of our soul

Made us more naked than we were before

And also had us feel complete and whole.

Desires and dreams continued to explore

Finding out more every time as we lay

Thinking always the other was perfect

Within each and every possible way.

And though our bodies may be wrecked

And our mind's may also be a mess

We have never yet to disappoint or fail

To give each other their very, very best.

Our humble hearts are thankful for the love

And also for all that has ever been said

Let's not forget everything that's been done

With no hesitation in as well as out of bed.

Our friendship we haven't known any stronger

And as lovers we sure can match that too

Always reaching new heights together

Side by side as to see the same view.

Let us take time and ask each other now

With our dimmed eyesight and broken body

And I am aging as well as you are too

We don't know truly if the best is yet to be.

But, it would be nice if we could promise

That in the passing moments of our days

We will cherish our time and one another
