British trains and rain.....so common........
PS: I looked onto the tomato thing. Learned that the high acidity of tomatoes did cause led poisoning when sitting on the sort of pewter plates used by the aristocrats. Reminds me of the way Beethoven unknowingly and progressively poisoned himself with the wine in that certain sort of cup.

when you grow up in Kent, London Bridge, Waterloo and Charing Cross were the three last stops on the train. And each has led to a few happy times ..
