Where do you go
Where do you go when it snows,
where do you hide
when the fire dies,
staring at our toast,
looks that never touch
good morning,
so polite,
this dance of shattered tears,
afraid the world will burn
with unspoken fears,
spooning you asleep,
hiding in the night,
the
last
refuge of love,
dying in the deafening silence
of two heart beating
as one.
Where did your smile go,
bringing winter's cold,
where do you go,
when clouds cover the sun
where do you hide
when the fire dies,
staring at our toast,
looks that never touch
good morning,
so polite,
this dance of shattered tears,
afraid the world will burn
with unspoken fears,
spooning you asleep,
hiding in the night,
the
last
refuge of love,
dying in the deafening silence
of two heart beating
as one.
Where did your smile go,
bringing winter's cold,
where do you go,
when clouds cover the sun
