YESTERDAY, TODAY and TOMORROW

YESTERDAY, TODAY and TOMORROW
Yesterday it seems I felt okay
I even smile when thinking of you,
remembering all our happy times
funny things mixed in there too.

But, today I am feeling quite sad
when I think of you, I start to cry,
I'm missing you so very, very much
and also still asking the Lord why?

I don't know what's gonna happen
when I wake and face another day,
what is it that tomorrow will bring
will I cry or am I going to be okay?

This roller coaster of emotions
 its the most painful rides in life,
nothing can ever truly prepare you
for the endless grief and strife.

I'm trying to handle my emotions
in the manner I truly ought to do,
but, I'm still truly thanking the Lord
for all my I had moments with you.
