While searching for tomorrow, I found yesterday

That's why I stopped getting high
I told all my drug buddies to fuck off and die

I even helped you to steer through an abusive relationship
Abused out of this world like you were on a spaceship
But I pulled you into me, helped you to find your core
Taught you how to stand up for self, and how to say no

You found your center, in the middle is where to begin
