I was reading an article;
a local ladies cross country runner
finished 14th in the regional
meet, wearing only one shoe, propelling her team to the state finals.
What I found strange
was that THEY found it strange.
I mean…
I know a guy who ONLY ran barefooted.
Once there was glass on the course
and he had to run, wearing the team manager’s
Stacy Adams dress shoes. HIS reaction
was like HER reaction,
in
an
inverse
form, which calls into question:
This norm or that norm.
