Submerged in immense despair,
I sink into the unknown
The depths of the sea, embrace me
Whispers of void become transparent
Virulent eyes of sorrow, I carry
Hallow to the touch, I feel
In the coldness of my definitive decay, I weep

“Whispers of void”. Knockout line. And this poem really carries this message of despair well. And I like that there’s some element of pondering required here.

thank you so much! i wanted to include the element of water somehow but keep it simple "the whispers of void" is also suppose to be a mermaid reference :)
