Image for the poem the nothing

the nothing

twist the tale and relax
and it shall fall from your tongue...
your meaning
I see you in the mist
struggling to find your feelings
not knowing is frustrating
perhaps you feel nothing
like I do
it's always surprising...emotions
they come with such power then go
I wonder if they were ever mine at all
moving me with such force
that I lose my mind for a time
then all at once take their leave
I am left breathless and alone
I miss the spot you once occupy in my soul
your company is desired
if you're in the mind to visit
secret away when the feeling builds
and reach into me with the words you utter
whisper in my ear fear
I find it thrilling
the need builds and from nowhere I see you
stalking the darkness
casting a long shadow
my mind screams
my body responds lustfully
you turn me on even in the nothing
I see the look in your eyes
and I know I behold my undoing
come to me in time
and fill my longing
