Blowing in the wind
Your eloquence overwhelms me
Leaves my tongue in awe
The foundations paralyze
So badly do I want to sympathize
Rhyme and Meter
Also my greeter
The mechanical whiz
Takes to flight in machines
Wants gone a well worn phrase
Reject any mass worn haze
Is it my role to provide answers
To the perils of the day
A philosopher king
Who can shine wisdom's rays
Now if circular is history
Examine the arcs of time
Then in fact questions over used
Will fill the best minds
I could postulate where I can
With an eye to being in the wrong
No pretense as a respected thinker
Seen as most competent to lead on
Leaves my tongue in awe
The foundations paralyze
So badly do I want to sympathize
Rhyme and Meter
Also my greeter
The mechanical whiz
Takes to flight in machines
Wants gone a well worn phrase
Reject any mass worn haze
Is it my role to provide answers
To the perils of the day
A philosopher king
Who can shine wisdom's rays
Now if circular is history
Examine the arcs of time
Then in fact questions over used
Will fill the best minds
I could postulate where I can
With an eye to being in the wrong
