Hopeless (7th Nov 2022)

After two phone calls today
In disarray
One to my own doctors
And the other to the surgery
That fitted my 7 day ECG Monitor
Two months ago
Neither yet, they both say so
Know the outcome
I was initially referred
Seems absurd
Four months ago
This has been hanging over me
Like a shroud
I asked, not loud
Was there any way
If not today
That this could be followed up
And as i supped, from my teacup
Both told me to phone the other
But neither had any solution
To this confusion
My surgery said
That she would pass on this info
To my doctor, pronto
Whose surname
Is Hope
I can't cope
With not knowing
Is it showing?
