Mirror Mirror

I wrote this piece for Mental health awareness, Mental Health is real and many struggle with it and have no one to turn to or talk to. If any of my friends or family ever need someone to talk to, I'm here and remember things get better.  Love you❤

They say don't judge a book by it's cover, but every time you turn around you speak Negative about me.

Your harsh words and insecure jokes about my weight brings out the aches you see.

Sad thing is you can't begin to understand the pain and torture I endeavored throughout my life. The stab wounds I face from that invisible knife.

I look in the mirror trying to see the beauty in me, but the only vision is them harsh names that run in the back ok my head that's all I see.

Hunger hitting me from left to right but deep down I'm scared to eat, knowing soon as I do the toilet and I will have a meet.

No one understands the battle I have with this disease, they just judge and smack their lips and say child please.

Deep down inside I'm fighting these demons trying to stay sane, but the more I try the more I get these intense pains.

Wanting to just give up on life cause I feel so empty inside, listening to that little voice that says go ahead do it its just suicide.

Self inflicted pain on myself hoping to get a conclusion, but the pain is more like a contusion.

One could never begin to understand what my life is like, the binging and feelings bad from it then purging and dealing with the after strife.

Constantly looking over my shoulder cause it feels like I'm being watched and I'm wondering what it is they see, catching chills down my spine every time someone looks at me.

Big, fat, plump, out of shape, she needs to go on a diet ohhhh the words are cutting through my brain like a dull knife, I just want to be free I just want to live my life.

I could go on and on but why bore you with my so called sad song, cause truth be told this life we live won't last for long..
