Parted Curtains
The glow of morning sun through
parted curtains landed bright on my legs.
I stared at the dust glistening in the light
and wondered when it began its dance.
I thought he’d pulled the curtains tightly the night
before but there they hung, half open to the world.
Neither of us were aware of anything other than each other
last night.We must have been a sight to behold in the lamplight.
I wondered if our curious neighbor, Mr. Walker, enjoyed the show..
