Thief

I believe that a thief lives in this yard.
Somebody went in my house and stole my money.
I didn’t catch the person red-handed,
So I don’t know for sure who did it.
All the people who live here are suspects.
It doesn’t appear that it was a prowler.
So it must have been a tenant of the yard.

Nasty Negro, you’re a damn thief!
You stole my money because you were hungry.
I don’t trust sneaky rats, so I changed the locks.
You’re envious of my possessions.
The money that you stole from me will soon finish.
And you’ll soon be hungry again.
You won’t get the chance to steal more money from me.
