Fragments of Desire
I spin as I dance a dance like none I have
performed
The rays of the moon madden and
encourage nudity, not only of the body but
of the mind
Strips of flesh fall from my naked body
Delicate laces of fat shed away
Bones rattle where only a few moments
ago I was clothed with desire
I call this dance freedom
Alone I make my own felicity
