To My Sea-whisperer
I just love you
It’s that simple
Yet so complicated
I just love you
And want you
And miss you
The intensity
Confuses my mind
Until I don’t know
Which is up or down
Like swimming
In the middle of the deep
With no light above
Or ocean floor beneath
All I KNOW is
The waters of emotion
Through which I swim
Without you,
The one who rules these tides.
So please be patient
And understand
Please ride these waves
Do not flee the sea
Or drown within
It is you
Who holds the power
To bring the calm
