Sepia

Unto the Moorish King I once seduced upon the land as his blessed amulet against the glare of sun shined
Closing my eyes in reminisce as I still feel the warmth of our spirits entwined
I bowed to the fifth wonder of his astral soul
Soft whispers to my ear his vows flowed
Meet me in the middle of the beginning of time
A place where Frankincense and myrrh greeted our temples, royal chalices we sipped honeyed wine

To covet a King’s soul is found to be the sweetest work of art
No beginning, passion of the minds, divinity of souls our greatest start
We breathe, we love, two hearts we merge
In the realm of humanity, spoken words we softy purge
Dancing in the moonlight, our souls shall tangle
On the threshold of goodbyes, our hearts in time we nakedly dangle
In the taste of ecstasy whet your appetite from my greatness of glory
Let the sepia pages worn by fate be the remembrance of our story
