All Saints Day
So we learn something new every day.
I was listening to TV5 Monde this AM,
Find that everything is an excuse for a vacation in France
Including la Toussaint:
Vacation time from Oct 22 to Nov 7.
This makes me wanna cry out of jealousy.
Talked to a French woman recently:
She gets, par for the course, one month vacation per year
Plus an extra 28 days for this holyday and that one.
In Canada, the average poor sucker gets 2weeks max
Plus about 12 days for these holydays like Christmas etc.
so I am rambling
And this is not really a poem, is it?
I just had to get it off my chest.

Depending on the company you work for, and how much vacation time one can accumulate. The other flip side of "vacation" is if whether you can afford to go somewhere. For me, "staycations" have become the norm, but I do plan eventually on starting my bucket list and going places.

True. Just because you have the time does not mean you have the $$$. I hope ypu do get to visit a place on your bucket list. A top one would be..........?
