She is beautiful
Like all oceans are
Raging with a storm of dreams
She is calm
While the sun sets
Behind the horizon
We will forget
She kisses the sand
The rocks, the cliffs, the wall
She is indomitable

Everyone loves the sea, it is universal, it transends language and nationality, and all the bullshit fades away when you stand by the tides. I am weary of those who don't like the beach.

I'm a nature lover n I'm fascinated by celestial objects... But two things that have captivated my heart and soul are the sea and the moon.... Moon has a hypnotic beauty.. Very mesmerizing... Mystical....
While the sea.... The sea tames my inner demons....

Thanks for reading. The moon on the sea is spectacular, It is free to look at and it stops people, everyone is drawn to the wonder of it. The other day the moon was yellow, I really enjoy the moments when the moon changes colour. The sea is also a calming feature of my life.

It's a love hate relationship I have.
I adore the shoreline; dipping my toes in, walking along the water's edge as it laps against my ankles, looking for the perfect washed up treasure. I can spend a lifetime feeling the pleasure of the sweet salty breezes unique to only being seaside. I bask lovingly in the radiant ambiance and atmospheric weightlessness that calming undulations of the tides bring. Where water meets land is magical, indeed...
However, the ocean, is a fickle beast, at best. I very sadly can't do boats because I get terribly seasick. As much as I've tried and as much as I want to and have yearned to sail among those beautiful ocean waters, I'm unable to, with any amount of pleasure. Yeah, it's that bad! The ocean can be the bane of my existence, here in Florida. A hurricane can take everything from you, in mere moments, if you're misfortune enough... It's a crap shoot really... but her ocean's rage is nothing to trifle with!
So I agree, I love the sea.... Yet I hate it, too...
Isn't that life, though, right?!?... Hahaha.

It's interesting to here about your dichotomy with the sea. I find I have a healthy respect for it even at the shore. I have got cocky and tried to swim in the rip curl of bigger than average waves. You are always trying to keep ahead of an inevitable wipout.
I went sailing with a rich man once when I was a child. I spent most of the time sick reading a book in a cabin. But I love to travel on big boats, I have gone on ferrys to France and Denmark. I love the romance of big ships.
I have never exprienced a hurricane. I enjoyed your poem about waiting for one. I have been in the eye of a storm before. I sat on the hot sticky tarmac and watched the lighting swirls around the sky above, thankfully I was on dry land.
