seasonal glance

she stood
there
wrapped up
in visions
and
contented
smiles
at the
cool
stone-lined
pathway
overlooking
the lazy
flowing creek,
unannounced
as
it passed by
those
pastel glazed
fall trees,
their
happy tears
marked
by each
magnificently
dropped
painted leaf
that
were readily
given up
to
the delight
of tourist
and
occasional
passing friends.
