about who i am

permanent identity
exist

chip away
to find
collections

memories
experiences
ideas

clustered

around
physical
sense of self

who what
where is the
essential ‘me’

who is the person
with the unnecessary
chipped away

truth
revealed
unobstructed

personality
identity
ego

just words
for
’me’

constructs from
layers of memory
and experience

only because i learned
certain beliefs
about identity

can i
take on identity
at all

learning
to see my self
in a particular way

creates
and maintains
the illusion of ‘me’
