Reflecting

Thunderstorms over head,
I've wavered many storms.
I've been dropped in deserts left for dead.
I've fell for devils charms.

I've cried with demons,
I've stood side by side my enemy.
They called my darkness achievements.
As they destroyed the good I see.

I've fought wars.
Countless on ground, sea, air, and in my head.
I've been tore apart I'm practically scars.
Very few understand what's been said.

When I've laid to rest young kings
Watched jokers rise to power.
The world has made a mokery of things.
We offer our souls and their devoured.

This is why I toss at night.
These are my living nightmares.
This is how we build our blight.
How we pay the boatman fares.
