in front of the captain
If you find yourself in front of the captain,
like everyone around you is jumping ship.
Don't lose your step.
Don't miss a step.
'Cause I'll be by your side,
facing the storm.
As the cruel dark clouds hover just above the arch,
and torrential rains began to fall.
Your nerves can get the best of you,
but this is perfectly natural.
All you have to do is go out and take my hand.
I will calm the panicked thoughts
causing your mind to spin.
I'll be by your side through hurricane-force winds,
and together we'll be able to keep our balance.
Life may try to send us to the depths of the ocean,
but together we will survive this hellish night
to see the sun again.
