Your eyes, pools of molten chocolate, both shimmering surprises
If I could only dive to their depths and greet tomorrow's sunrises
Swimming against the currents of your beautiful mental stream
I'm like a trout swimming about in the light of the moon's beam

I've bowed before nature swearing oaths and begging favors
But in my time of need you were my only savior
Your shimmering eyes guiding me through life's darkest times

There's nothing in the universe with a more perfect shape
Curves and swerves, everything knowing it's place
Listening to your voice is like floating on a gentle breeze

Cast like a fishermen's net and my heart was caught
