Din Din

I've gotta come up with a scheme for catching this prey
I've watched him travel the same path every day
He loves the power that he gets from him uniform
It tells him, it's his right to make them conform

Hell I know everything about him that a predator should know
His home was once here, but isn't here any more
He went to the academy and got sworn in
Came out brainwashed and became one of them

He packed up his shit determine to relocate
Move among those with which he couldn't relate
Trying to live a life that he couldn't afford
Contemplating suicide from carrying this load

But he's suddenly struck with idea, he realizes a solution was alway here
He remembers the neighborhood that he left in the rear
Others of his kind gave him advise and eased his mind
"This is how we do this shit, it is in our design"

He returned home, except it isn't home isn't more
And this new life that he's living is worth so much more
He knew that the action was at the corner store
He knew them all, he'd met them all before

One by one he started shaking them down
Jacking them fools for a few more pounds
Take that shit and put his own crew on the street
Now he has the Escalade and silken sheets

House paid off, money stacked into the wall
Anyone unwilling to cooperate is taking a fall
Trumped up charges became the norm
And there was always a snitch ready to inform

He buried more bodied than even I did
Constant choke holds and throw aways hid
This is what attracted me, the smell of his life force
In a big ass city it was hard to lock in on the source

Shit I could devour his whole precinct
As soon as I absorb his essence we'll be in sync
I entered his neighborhood keeping to the shadows
Waited for his return cloaked in shadow

Quick with attack after my approach
To quick for the holster snap to be broach
Chopping and hacking feeding this motherfucker machete
Everything but his heart looking like confetti

I took his still beating heart and placed it on a badge for a plate
Sat on the hood of his cruiser and that's where I ate
With eat bite his powers were transferred and I was energized
After throwing him back into a burning car, I'm innocent in Hell's eyes
