Do Me Footsie Wootsie

under a relentless desert sun
S and i traipse
from one end of the state fair to the other

Ferris wheel
baby goats
art exhibits
Navajo tacos
we're having a great time
but damn
that sun
97 degrees in October
we duck into an air conditioned exhibition hall

there's an empty row
of bright pastel chairs
instant happy
oh, they have foot massage
probably weak
but only 25 cents
sure
why not

i pick the pink chair
though i like the other colors too
put in my quarter
sit back
prepared to relax

the metal pad
my feet rest on
instantly
goes from zero

to warp speed

BZZZZZ- BZZZZZZ-BZZZZZZ

the charge goes through my feet
into my legs
which soon experience an epiphany
all my life...i thought i was alive...but then

the power
of the metal pad
is shocking
exhilirating

fierce

i'm not kidding
if you dropped a coconut onto this thing
it would husk and split it in seconds

as the buzzing sensation
reaches my brain
it is inevitable

i go there

this is like the world's most powerful vibrator
i whisper to my friend

i want to sit on it

he jokingly offers to stand guard
he's 6'4
it might work
but basic decency dictates
not screaming in orgasmic ecstacy
as families mill about

as my legs continue to enjoy
their cocaine wasabi cocktail
i idly fantasize

maybe the manufacturers of the Footsie Wootsie
also make a...

I'll let you supply the rhyme
