You Vs. Us

You try and try to justify what is right vs. what I write…
Now I’m left here confused in a time that I needed you the most… frozen in steel tears from the previous mentioned…

I run and run away but land right back in reality… at this point it’s you vs. us don’t fight it … Wiping the tears onto the pillow of falling hearts… mine non existent to my future which is not with you… vs. what was us….

You running from us and to them what about me… fighting the ongoing questions what would happen if I ever lost you… my world would stop turning and it would be once again me vs. the world without you… I got the blues… cliché huh!

You vs. Me vs. Us. Vs. We…. And I guess it was never a you and me equaling we… it was three you me and her… I was outta of the loop… but marching in the beat of love… Troops… comparison… Lingering feelings now falling on the grass…

Now I’m here with out my better half… I hoped it last … but was I sadly mistaken tree shakin… damn! It Was Us Vs. Them now it’s You Vs. We… You see!
